About the event

Props, costumes, and TikTok. Does it get any better than that? Kids 6 + are invited to join JYC Coaches Emily and Brynn at the Lacombe Museum to create fun promotions for their new exhibit and online event happening Feb 18. We don't just need kids who want to be on camera - we also need kids who want to film the content, manage the costumes and props, and direct the creative elements. So, basically ANY kid can help!

"On July 1, 1867, Confederation was proclaimed. It marked the birth of today’s Canada and the culmination of a process that took nearly thirty years. This exhibition invites visitors to explore the journey of a society in transition and of people who fought, negotiated, and made compromises to better coexist.  Join the Lacombe Museum and Jo(e) Social Media at our online event on February 18th to learn more about Confederation. We will be roleplaying different Provinces and Indigenous groups in Canada and have an informal negotiation about whether your Province or group should join Confederation."
